It follows the inner journey of a young boy who is first met by sorrow and pain. He begins in disassociative survival, moving through shadow and fragmentation, until he slowly reconnects with his inner strength. What emerges is a return to balance—a remembering of self.
Each panel marks a threshold:survival gives way to surrender,surrender opens into wholeness.
In this final movement, the figure reunites with his own existence, stepping fully into his power.
The work speaks to the hero’s journey of remembrance—an inward pilgrimage from darkness to light. It honors the quiet courage required to face grief, reclaim agency, and embody truth. Here, nothing is out of place. Every wound carries wisdom. Every step forward is a reconciliation.
When we choose to embrace our deepest selves, we recover our ultimate agency—and in doing so, we remember who we have always been.
